On February 18th, I hosted (and organized!) a panel called the “The STEMprenuer Mindset”. It featured 13 speakers who have expertises in both business and STEM as well as made an impactful difference in their fields. I’ve have been planning the panel since December and decided to aim the event to 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders. Ultimately, I want to make mentorship more accessible to our students and the panel was a great opportunity for them to network with the speakers. The panel was a way for us to get the word out about what robotics really is and engage students in an interactive Q & A and pitch competition. Afterwards the panel was featured on multiple social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok and was posted by our speakers some of which have 100k followers.
